A notary public included on the Register of Notaries of the canton and an active member of the Canton of Ticino Notaries Association (OdNTi), he is a public official qualified to receive and file all deeds required by law or the individual parties to be authenticated, whether pertaining to land ownership (property transfers and associated procedures, donations, establishing liens on property, easements, etc.) or corporate matters (incorporation of a company, capital increases and reductions, mergers, demergers, changes to company structure) or inheritance and marriage (wills, succession agreements, prenuptial agreements). He can also provide notary certification and legalisation of various kinds including, for example, the authentication of signatures and certification of documents as true copies of originals.  In matters relating to land, his work is limited to property rights relating to land within the Canton of Ticino, while in corporate matters he is qualified to deal with matters across Switzerland..

TARIFFE

The law on notary rates of 26 November 2013 establishes an upper limit for fees and compensation for deeds and tasks performed by notaries public.

The notary fee for deeds of a value that is determined or can be determined is set as follows

The fees cover providing information to the parties, preparing the task and publishing the deed. The fee specifically does not include researching and preparing deeds, drafting powers of attorney, drafting company articles of association or award agreements, requests to issue authorisations, translations, collection, payment of the price, etc.
